Birthday Party Invitations

Well it's that time of year again!! The time to celebrate my baby girls birthday! She is turning 9 years old this year. I cannot believe how time fly's. So last year I was just starting off at making cards but I still wanted to handmade her invitations so I did. This year I also wanted to do the same. I showed them to her yesterday and she was so happy! She said that it was just what she wanted her invitations to look like! That made me SO happy! :-) 

So this is her Birthday Invitation

She loves the color pink, red, and loves cakes! So I managed to put everything she likes on it. Her invitation also spells like cherry! I tried a new embossing powder and I used it for the "YOU'RE INVITED" Stamp so it could smell like candy! 

The things we do for our kids! If I had to do it again I sure would because the look on her face when she saw her invitation was the best feeling in the world!!

Beautiful Journals..

Happy Sunday to all of you!

I finally finished decorating that Journal that I was talking to you all about! I am very happy how it turned out! My daughter was with me when I was finishing it up and she couldn't believe that I have already decorated 3 books. She asked if I could decorate one for her. I have already been thinking of doing one for her but never told her. I can't wait to get started and see if I could make the perfect Journal for my baby girl. 

So my baby girl is going to be turning 9 very soon and I promised her that I was going to be making her

Birthday Invitations. I made her Birthday invitations last year and I am hoping that this years turns out way better. I can't believe my oldest will be 9 soon.... Time sure does fly when your a mother. 

 So here is the Journal. I love the paper that I decided to use. I also love the ribbon... So girly, don't you think?

I also had decorated a Day Planner that I had picked up for really cheap but never posted pictures to show all of you how it turned out. SO HERE YOU GO!!

Well that's it for today but I am sure I will be working on something tomorrow and will post for all to see!!

Round Cork Board

I was shopping the other day and I found these round cork boards and thought it would be fun to see what I could come up with! So I bought a few of them and now I am in love with what I have made.

Getting my creative motivation back!!

Hey everyone!! I am so sorry that I have not posted anything for ever! It has been a very busy year for me. I decided to go back to school and I also joined this great organization that does a lot of volunteering for our military community. I found myself not having any time for my crafts and that made me very sad. I never wanted to loose my creativity or the motivation to create. But unfortunately that is exactly what happened. So as soon New Years came, I decided to make a new years resolution to at least make a card or work on a craft everyday. Even if it's for 15min of my day, just as long as I dedicate some time to my crafts. 

I am happy to report that I have been doing what I had promised myself to do! Yesterday I went my new friends house;  from Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons; and worked on a card. It felt so good to get back into making my cards again. My friend Lisa Norris is a terrific card maker and I hope to get as good as she is one day! Today I decided to work on making a plain looking journal book into something beautiful! These are a few things that I am doing in order to get my MOTIVATION back. It's working! I am so happy!

 I found this beautiful paper at Micheal's when I went to California and I just fell in love with it.  

I just love the way the ribbon sparkles...

NEW Babyshower Invitation

Hello Everyone! I hope your enjoying your weekend! Remember on my last post I made a FABULOUS babyshower invitation for a cousin of mine? Well I had to change the color of it because it didn't match it the colors of the party decorations. I didn't mind doing it at all!

I decided to make Babyshower invitations for my cousin. She is having her first baby boy and I thought it would be nice for me to help with her babyshower. I came up with a card that is boy colors and it has some femini flair. Please tell me what ya'll think??
