Mothers Day

Good Morning all! I finally am sitting down on my craft table and making some Mothers Day cards. I have noticed that latley I haven't been making cards. I have spending some of my time that I normally would on scrapbook on my babies. Even though I enjoy that time spent with them I think that not working on my scrapbooking has effected the way I feel. Scrapbooking make me feel happy and like I am doing something with my life.

I have also been thinking of selling my crafts but it's harder than people think. It's not about just putting your things on the internet and hope that they sell. I have lost the purpose of why I started making my crafts. To make someones day! By giving them something I made! That I made with so love! So I have decided to focus on making the craft, enjoying myself, and making people happy! Maybe in the future I can sell my crafts. 

I would still love all of you to follow me and keep looking at the crafts that I make. I would love some input in what I can do to make my crafts better!

NEW Craft!

Yesterday I wanted to try something new. I am getting so daring these days! I love it! So I bought these little cardboard boxes and thought I could make theme look so much better! Plus with Spring coming I thought I could put some Sunflowers and bright colored paper on it and it would look so beautiful. I started making it and the finished product came out so much better than I expected!

So that was my NEW craft that I made and I think it came out great. I even had someone offer to buy it!! I am so excited with the way my "hobby" is going! It's making me so happy in so many ways!!!

The other day I decided to try something new. I made a scrapbook page that was all about my youngest son. I am not going to put it in an album, I am going to put it into a shadow box picture frame. This is how I am going to display some of my pictures. Especially pictures of my kids or places where we have traveled. I figure this will be somewhat of an art piece and all of the stuff that I have been saving of their's I can put in the shadow box. I am excited to do this new project! I have always wanted to do it and never have!

I started making cards because I needed something to do while I was recovering from foot surgery. It has turned into something I never thought I would be any good at! I have always wanted to try something like scrapbooking but never thought I had the "Artsy" gene in me. I have many friends who have tried to have me start scrapbooking but I have always turned them down. I have never really liked the albums part of scrapbooking. I don't know why. I enjoy the digital album scrapbooking.

Card making has always been something that has interested me. I love making a card for a specific person, adding personal touches to it like their favorit color, favorit flower and a butterfly or ladybug. You can add a special saying that comes straight from your heart and put it on the card. I love making cards! It makes me feel happy! I love giving them to people. Making someones day is my goal when I am making my cards...
