NEW Babyshower Invitation

Hello Everyone! I hope your enjoying your weekend! Remember on my last post I made a FABULOUS babyshower invitation for a cousin of mine? Well I had to change the color of it because it didn't match it the colors of the party decorations. I didn't mind doing it at all!

I decided to make Babyshower invitations for my cousin. She is having her first baby boy and I thought it would be nice for me to help with her babyshower. I came up with a card that is boy colors and it has some femini flair. Please tell me what ya'll think??

A Card For A HERO!

So not to long ago I made a card for a friends husband. He is EOD Air Force and was overseas serving the war when unfortunatly there was an accedient and he was badly hurt. He was sent to the doctors and after several hours in surgery he was okay. He has several years ahead of him of Physical and Occupational Therapy. Well I and some of her other friends thought it would be nice to make her husband a card to show him that we were thinking of him and that we appreciated what he did for our country.

Digital Scrapbooking

Not to long ago I bought My Digital Studio from Stampin Up and I decided to sit down and try it out. I have to say that I love it!! It is so easy to do and you can do it while taking care of you kid and watching TV! I enjoy doing Digital Scrapbooking because it's just about clicking stuff. Plus I already have all my pictures on my computer so all I have to do is drag and drop and it's all done!! So easy!

NEW Can Project!! Very Fun!!

I have a good friend of mine that is great with making anything look great! So I had a can and I thought I would make it look great and use it for organizing things around my scrapbooking office. It was so easy and fun. I have been really motivated lately and I have been trying anything and coming up with so many things!! I just love it! I take advantage of these rare occations because they don't come very often. Plus finding time to sit down and doing crafts and making cards so hard these days with having a family.

Being asked to design cards and pages...

I am so excited to tell you all that I was asked to make a card for someone very special. I am taking my time with this one and hopefully with will come out great! I was also asked by a friend of mine if I could get together with her to help her with a scrapbooking page for her grandmother. I was honered! I am so very happy that all of this is happening. I am doing something that I love and I also love helping my friends so this make me very happy!!

Thinking Of You Card...

I made some new cards and I am finally going to post them so you can see them. My camera broke so I haven't been able to take pictures of my finished work! How terrible! I have been doing more cards lately because of Mothers Day and also I wanted to make a card for a dear friend of mine. It took me FOREVER to come up with a layout for my friends card. I wanted it to come out perfect so I couldn't come up with the starting point. Finally I did and then I was stuck again!! So I took a break and just thought about it in my head. Later on that same day it all came to me and I went back to my desk and finished the card. I couldn't be more happy with the finished result!!

Finding Time

As a mother of 3 kids and a wife it is very hard to find some time to make my cards and do my crafts.  I have always been really bad about making time for myself. At first when I started all this I guess I was spending too much time on "Scrapbooking", (So my husband say's). Now I can't find a happy medium. I always do too much or nothing at all. So now IT'S NOTHING AT ALL!

I have finished Mothers Day Cards and that's great! I am also working on a magnet board but it's my first time so it is talking me a little longer and the fact that I am located in Germany doesn't help either!
I ordered these beautiful frames from Etsy about a month ago and those were one of my missing items that I needed in order to finish my magnet board. Now all I need to find is Steel Metal Sheets. Everything else is already bought and ready to be used....

I can't wait for the finished reasult!

Another issue that I need to take care of is : Trying to find a "HAPPY MEDIUM" for my scrapbooking!?!  If anyone has the answer please share......

Mothers Day

Good Morning all! I finally am sitting down on my craft table and making some Mothers Day cards. I have noticed that latley I haven't been making cards. I have spending some of my time that I normally would on scrapbook on my babies. Even though I enjoy that time spent with them I think that not working on my scrapbooking has effected the way I feel. Scrapbooking make me feel happy and like I am doing something with my life.

I have also been thinking of selling my crafts but it's harder than people think. It's not about just putting your things on the internet and hope that they sell. I have lost the purpose of why I started making my crafts. To make someones day! By giving them something I made! That I made with so love! So I have decided to focus on making the craft, enjoying myself, and making people happy! Maybe in the future I can sell my crafts. 

I would still love all of you to follow me and keep looking at the crafts that I make. I would love some input in what I can do to make my crafts better!

NEW Craft!

Yesterday I wanted to try something new. I am getting so daring these days! I love it! So I bought these little cardboard boxes and thought I could make theme look so much better! Plus with Spring coming I thought I could put some Sunflowers and bright colored paper on it and it would look so beautiful. I started making it and the finished product came out so much better than I expected!

So that was my NEW craft that I made and I think it came out great. I even had someone offer to buy it!! I am so excited with the way my "hobby" is going! It's making me so happy in so many ways!!!

Ethan Julius Couture

The other day I decided to try something new. I made a scrapbook page that was all about my youngest son. I am not going to put it in an album, I am going to put it into a shadow box picture frame. This is how I am going to display some of my pictures. Especially pictures of my kids or places where we have traveled. I figure this will be somewhat of an art piece and all of the stuff that I have been saving of their's I can put in the shadow box. I am excited to do this new project! I have always wanted to do it and never have!

I started making cards because I needed something to do while I was recovering from foot surgery. It has turned into something I never thought I would be any good at! I have always wanted to try something like scrapbooking but never thought I had the "Artsy" gene in me. I have many friends who have tried to have me start scrapbooking but I have always turned them down. I have never really liked the albums part of scrapbooking. I don't know why. I enjoy the digital album scrapbooking.

Card making has always been something that has interested me. I love making a card for a specific person, adding personal touches to it like their favorit color, favorit flower and a butterfly or ladybug. You can add a special saying that comes straight from your heart and put it on the card. I love making cards! It makes me feel happy! I love giving them to people. Making someones day is my goal when I am making my cards...
